Charly Boy: Gimmicks you don?t know
Charly Boy: Gimmicks you don?t know

Someone makes a comment on twitter or on facebook and majority of us take on him because we lack the depth to understand where he is coming from; we only read in the surface, and we tend to easily believe those who create some more positive attitude on a face value- too good, yet very bad for us. At a point when my picture, which many have termed my ‘nudity’, was copied from my displayed picture by my trusted friends who are on my private Blackberry contact, I had asked to know what they wanted to use the picture for if they had no particular interest in the picture.
They copied the picture to syndicate even when they never liked it. Some even had to place those pictures on their profile and I kept wondering why they had to do that. How can you patronize what you don’t like? Very funny…the human mind is obviously dirty. I put the picture up because I wanted to look at myself again. I wanted to appreciate some natural artwork by God and to know why God has decided to bless me and endowed me with such body. Wow! At that age, I still looked like that? God has been so artistic. He created me well. Even as I continue to give credit to God for my life, I can’t stop thanking discipline; yes, discipline from drugs, smoking, drinking, and womanizing. I thank discipline for keeping me on the road every morning like a mad man; I thank him for all the meditations towards healthy living.
I had thought that those friends of mine on my contact will read in-between the lines to understand where I was coming from, but they failed, and got carried away by the façade. Since then, when people complain about my supposed nudity, I laugh; I laugh because I have realized that our people can only see the front, they hardly see what’s behind. They do not appreciate and evaluate what some of the things they see represent. They are quick at drawing conclusions; however, nobody has asked me why such picture was taken in the first place. It is true that I put the picture up in order to appreciate how I looked then, and how I look today, as I could not notice any obvious difference, however, there was a reason for having taken that picture 15 years ago.
I posed that way to freely express my freedom in a country that can equally inhibit one’s creative mind. But it all depends on where one stands. If you have a fetish mind, the mind of a native doctor, or diabolical, what you will see is totally different. Your conclusion will be “this man is simply one of us- evil”. If your libido is very high, what comes to your mind is either Charlyboy is gay, or being seductive.
If you are the “churchy-churchy” type, you will not waste time to conclude that I have acted so immoral and should be banned from this dungeon- Nigeria. Who told you that I will regret leaving the shore of this country if I’m band for freely expressing myself? However, what you see depends on where you stand. No creative artiste will think the way many Nigerians think. An artiste will see the picture as an expression of arts. He will have a perfect interpretation to the different parts of my body. What if the picture was not in a photo form? What if it was a sketch? Would you have grumbled? It takes courage to get myself to the studio, and to pose nude. It takes the heart of lion to be able to let people talk about your body in that manner, but the message is all about being yourself and being dogged and courageous to do what you like to do, to being able to communicate your message to the world in the most amazing and significant way. We like to pretend, and by so doing abandon the real thing for the fake stuffs. We like to tell ourselves those fake things, those lies and we don’t check the truth.
Yes, we want Change; we need change and we expect to reap the blessings of change but we are afraid to express how we feel, we are even ashamed of telling our leaders how retched we are as citizens We all know the solution to our problems as a nation; turn on your television, all you hear is “I think Nigeria is at a crossroad, I think Nigeria is bleeding, I think Nigeria is dying” hey! If you do not get off that road to express your freedom, then you’ll get hit by a truck, and you bleed, and then die. Yesterday is history; tomorrow is spotless and a mystery. Today is a gift; that is why it is called the present; so that we become the gift of the tomorrow we need. The success or failure of our country is in our hands. If we don’t freely express how we feel today, we will all die struggling to be free.
We write the stories we want to read; we sing the song we want to hear, and act the scenes we hope to see. Let’s, therefore, begin here and now to rewrite the story book of Nigeria by holding on to the freedom we search. Because this country is our own, we must always fight to redeem it. We need freedom, and we hope Jonathan will give us the freedom we have been searching for IN NO DISTANT TIME. I guess you will now know those gimmicks you didn’t know.

choas as husbamd steals wife's urine

There was real drama at a house in the usually serene Suburbs when a
28-year-old man battered his wife and struck her face against a brick
wall after the latter accused her husband of allegedly 'tempering' with
her life after he 'nicodemously' took her urine to the hospital for pregnancy testing.
The comical incident, which seems to have been posted on the popular social networking site, facebook occurred at Number 18 Clark Road, Suburbs, Bulawayo after the man suspected that his wife was trying to abort the fruits of his all night sweat job.
Circumstances are that on 12 October at around 7pm, Polite BukhosiNdlovu (28) suspected that his wife Natasha Muzire (26) was pregnant but was refusing to let the cat out of the bag as she was reportedly planning to abort the pregnancy.
Ndlovu who is employed as a caretaker at United Bulawayo Hospitals hatched a plan to 'steal' his wife's urine for pregnancy testing at his workplace. It is alleged that prior to hatching the plan Muzire had allegedly denied the claims that her stomach was growing big because of Ndlovu's sperms.
The alleged child hopeful Ndlovu's prayers were later answered when he reportedly got hold of his wife's urine and took it to his workplace for a pregnancy test. It is further reported that on the day in question which he took the urine, at around 10 pm he came back home with the results confirming that Muzire was indeed pregnant.
In a bid that his wife should not be the replica of the Biblical doubting Thomas, Ndlovu gave her the results to see for herself that she was carrying his 'baby'.
After some minutes the proud father in the making allegedly demanded the results back for safekeeping but his wife refused saying he took her urine without her consent. Witchraft accusations allegedly took centre stage when Muzire started accusing her husband of trying to 'temper' with her life as he had nicodemously taken her urine.
This was an accusation Ndlovu found hard to fathom when he started assaulting his better half with fists on the face several times. Perhaps in a bid to teach the foul mouthing Muzire a hard lesson he reportedly pushed her and struck her face twice against a brick wall. Muzire after the attack went and reported the matter to the police leading to Ndlovu's arrest.
Ndlovu, for the offence of turning his wife into a punching bag, was recently brought before Bulawayo magistrate Mr TawandaMuchemwa. He was being charged with physical abuse as defined in section 3(1) (a) as read with section 4 of the Domestic Violence Act Chapter 5:16.
He was not asked to plead and was remanded out of custody to 8 December on free bail.

Why I sent My wife Packing? ? Rev Chris Okotie
Why I sent My wife Packing? ? Rev Chris Okotie

Rev Grace Paul: A blind person knows that my pastor loved his wife, Stephanie, passionately. This year before the separation, he had taken her out of the country at least three times to different places like Dubai, US and so on. He loved her, so did the congregation but the bible says that two cannot walk together except they agree. In the establishment of the kingdom of God, the rules change because the rules are made by God and not by man. So, it didn’t have to do with what pastor wanted to do, because left to him, his love will keep him struggling and going at it but if God gives him instruction he has to follow it through.
City People: If I get you correctly, it was Jesus instructions for Pastor Chris to part ways with Stephanie?
Rev Grace: Let me give you a precedent. In the bible, there’s a queen called Queen Vershti of Persia. The king invited his wife and said – come woman, I want to show you off to my people and the woman had an attitude. She had pride issues. It was at that point she said to the king “Excuse me, I am making up, how can you be humiliating me by telling me to come and sit down so that people can be looking at me.” So she refused and the people of the kingdom rose up against her, and they said the king must let her go, and that was how Esther came in. That is the principle of The Kingdom. In the two cases of my pastor’s former wives, it was an abdication of roles. One was a physical abdication, and the other was a spiritual abdication. In the matters of the Kingdom of God, when you abdicate your position, your position will be taken over, because the calling my pastor has, he is not called to work alone
CP: In Stephanie’s case, was it a case of spiritual or physical abdication?
Rev Grace: Her case was spiritual abdication, but either ways it amounts to the same thing, because the scripture states clearly that if unbelieving departs, let him depart, you are not bound.
CP: Any efforts to patch things up?
Rev Grace: Spiritual things can not be patched up. When there are two people who are not the same kind, it is not a matter of patching up.
CP: So is the congregation happy that the pastor is single again and is there any plans to replace Stephanie?
Rev Grace: The congregation is not in the position to replace Stephanie. My pastor is a full grown man, and he knows what he’s doing. In the case of our pastor’s first wife, she insisted that where she wanted to do her church work was in the US. As for Stephanie, I cannot be intruding. As much as I am authorised to do what I am doing, I can’t disrespect my pastor and Stephanie. If I begin to give you some details, they would amount to disrespect. My pastor has insisted that they want to keep it private.
CP: Pastor Chris once said that the instruction to marry Stephanie was from God
Rev Grace: If you know my pastor, he is a passionate person. They had a long time relationship before they got married. My pastor is particularly careful about beautiful women because he knows that the devil desires them. So when a beautiful woman has issues in church, he ministers to them, and because he does that, people jump to the conclusion that he sleeps with them, which is not true. Just like Queen Ure, pastor has never had an affair with her, will never have an affair with her because they are not of the same kind Ure was pastoring her own church, until she became bored.”

Man Claims BMW Motorcycle Ride Gave Him Two-Year Erection, Let Erection Rage for Two Years Before Suing

Man Claims BMW Motorcycle Ride Gave Him Two-Year Erection, Let Erection Rage for Two Years Before Suing
In his lawsuit, Henry Wolf, 52, states that the condition (Called priapism after a minor Greek fertility god named Priapus, whose huge, distracting boner dominates any depiction of him) left him unable to engage in sexual activity, causing him "substantial emotional and mental anguish" and leaving him "distraught and distressed."
The worst part is, as the owner of a BMW motorcycle, Wolf was probably having a lot of sex with cool, pretty, down-for-whatever chicks prior to this development.
Wolf's attorney, Vernon Bradley, added that Wolf was forced to "reconfigure his clothing" and had difficulty going to the bathroom because of the erection.
In court documents Wolf alleges that several physicians told him the priapism was a result of his four-hour rough ride on the ridged seat from Hell. However, news outlets are having a hard time finding any medical professionals willing to say the same.
The closest anyone has come is noting that, in rare instances, priapism can be caused by "trauma," and remarking that compression of the penis, up against, say, the custom seat of a BMW motorcycle, might result in temporary numbness.
Wolf is also coming down hard on the manufacturer of the seat, Corbin-Pacific Inc., seeking unstated damages for lost wages, personal injury, medical expenses, product liability, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
Hopefully he can use the money to buy a Vespa.

Open up on Mrs. Jonathan
Open up on Mrs. Jonathan

•Presidency should not leave Nigerians guessing
MRS Patience Jonathan, Nigeria’s First Lady left the country’s shores in cloudy circumstances since the first week of September and the public has been left guessing about her whereabouts and her mission for travelling. Before her latest rove, she noticeably disappeared from public glare after hosting the laughable African First Ladies Peace Summit in Abuja. Consequently, the media have been agog with conjecture regarding her state of health.
We watch with amusement as tales of her alleged food poisoning, ruptured appendicitis to the comical abdominoplasty, a surgical procedure for tightening the abdominal muscles, popularly referred to as tummy tuck rent the air. Some even speculated that she lost her voice and was unconscious at the time she was moved out of the country, reportedly to Horst Schmidt Klinik, Wiesbaden, Germany.
However, Mr. Ayo Osinlu, her spokesman, dismissed all these, ascribing her boss’ overseas travel to the necessity to take a “moment’s rest.” The Presidency has worsened the matter by keeping undignified silence. What is nevertheless clear is that Mrs. Jonathan, also a controversial Permanent Secretary in Bayelsa State Civil Service, has some health challenges, which to us, is human.
What is abhorrent is the high secrecy with which the matter is handled as if making the issue a public one will sound the death knell of the president’s wife. This sadly is a repeat of the late President Umaru Yar’Adua episode when even whilst the president was dying, the cabal in the Presidency, still erroneously believed that Nigerians did not have the right to know the state of health of their president.
We have come to realise that leaders hardly learn any good lessons from the past; otherwise, the current hoarding of information regarding the state of health of Mrs. Jonathan is uncalled-for. This symptom is gradually becoming routine in the African continent where leaders conceal their health challenges from public glare, even when such is impeding the optimal discharge of the duties they swore to perform.
Nigeria’s political leaders and their families habitually seek luxurious therapeutic attention abroad at state’s expense. The latest overseas adventure of Mrs. Jonathan is perhaps a continuation of this awful trend; that is sadder because the nation has at its beck and call, enormous resources that could have been deployed to provide better medicare infrastructure through prudent management.
Recently too, David Mark, Senate-President, skipped the ceremonial signing of this year’s budget because he was in Israel to seek medical attention for his aching teeth and eye. Yet, Prof. Onyebuchi Nwosu, Minister of Health, reportedly cancelled overseas medical trips by public officers for treatment that could be handled by medical institutions in Nigeria?
At barely 52 as an independent nation, we are not comfortable that no hospital in Nigeria is considered good enough to handle food poisoning, appendicitis or even tooth problem that these two VIPs suffered from. The crass violations of this ministerial order by top ranking government officials and their families constitute an embarrassment to this administration.
Nigeria reportedly expends annually, a colossal amount of $200million on medical tourism. We consider this to be a shame to a country that boasts of over160 tertiary medical that are largely under-equipped and maintained by powerful elements in government with despicable medical standard.

Man kills one-month-old son
Otaoruju says a strange voice urged him to kill his child

Otaoroju allegedly killed his son, Kazeem, using a local perfume on August 30, 2012 at Epe in Lagos.
He was arrested by officers attached to Epe Police Division, after the mother of the child, Ronke, reported the incident at the station.
However, the suspect claimed to have been pushed to commit the crime by a mysterious force.
The suspect and Ronke, a fashion designer, are not married, but Otaoroju said Ronke got pregnant for him after the two met and fell in love last year.
In spite of having a wife and three kids, Otaoroju said he had wanted to marry Ronke.
But that was before he "felt a strange voice" urge him to kill their child during a visit to Ronke's apartment on August 30.
"I sent Ronke to go and buy bread. She left the baby with me and went out. After Ronke left, I tried to resist but the force was too strong," he said.
"I went outside and bought a liquid substance known as Bint El Sudan; a kind of perfume which Hausa people use. I took the substance, opened Kazeem's mouth and poured it into his mouth. I don't know why I did that."
Strangely, the suspect claimed to love Kazeem and his mother, saying he came back to his senses after poisoning the boy.
"I do not have any quarrel with Ronke. It was after the murder that my eyes opened. It was the devil's handiwork and I regret my action," he repeated.
In her statement to the police, Ronke said by the time she got back to the house, her son was foaming in mouth and nose, and already gasping for breath.
The child was rushed to Epe General Hospital, where he was confirmed dead.
Ronke subsequently reported the incident to the police after suspecting Otaoroju, who could not explain what had happened to the child.
The suspect was arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba, where he confessed to committing the crime.

See what a man did to his wife
See what a man did to his wife
Wife opens up: ‘My hubby used hot iron, screw driver to burn me’For 36 year-old Mrs Mercy Nnamdi, the woman whose one-year-old son was allegedly killed by her husband recently in Ago, Okota area of Lagos, over her husband’s allegation that she was sleeping with his father, life could never have been more cruel.
This is because never in her wildest imagination had she envisaged that a man she had known almost all her life could mete such inhuman treatment on her. As you read this piece, Mercy is going through excruciating pains in a private hospital in Okota where doctors are battling to save her life.
In fact, the once bubbling woman looks a shadow of herself, as medical report showed that she sustained a third degree burns from the hot iron her husband of two years used on her on Saturday, April 7 2012, which was exclusively reported by Vanguard.
Presently, the badly burnt woman maintains a particular position, by sleeping on her back. She wears an adult pampers when she eases herself, with a tissue paper by her side, with which she cleans the fluid coming out from the burns. Help, as gathered, was far from the Imo state-born woman, as none of her neighbours attempted to go and find out what was happening when she was desperately shouting for help. It was learnt that their neighbours failed to respond to her cries for help because it has become a daily occurrence.
Crime Guard gathered also that on several occasions, some of the neighbours invited policemen from Ago division who cautioned her husband after which he was made to sign an undertaking never to raise his hands on his wife.
Family sources hinted that signs of danger in the marriage reared its ugly face early after the two love birds fell in love 16 years ago, when Mary was barely 22 years old. But she was apparently blinded by love, hoping that her heartthrob would outgrow his anger someday, which was never to be.
Narrating what led to her being a patient in the hospital, Mary stated, “It all happened on a Saturday. I had prepared boiled yam, awaiting the arrival of my husband. After a long wait, I decided to eat mine and left his on the table. He came back few minutes to 11pm and went straight to bed. Then at about 1 a.m., power was restored and he went to put off the power generating set and switched over to electricity.
After that, he started ironing his customers’ clothes because he is a dry cleaner.
I was later woken up by the cry of our one-year-old baby who apparently needed breast milk. All the while, we were outside before power was restored. Before retiring inside, I took my bath and fetched water for him to have his.
The unforgettable night

As he planted the hot iron hard on my flesh, he would use a screw driver to peel off the flesh. At a point, I became too weak to shout. I begged him to stop but he would not. Rather, he would ask me to tell him how many times his father slept with me. Even in pains, I begged him to listen to himself and imagine what he was saying. My response seemed to anger him the more because he would plant it harder, leaving it on my skin and at the same time, asked me to tell him the truth.”
At this point, Crime Guard asked if she was guilty of the claim. She grimaced and replied, “How can that be? The father already has a wife.” Pausing for a while and staring at the ceiling , a position she has been maintaining for several hours, she continued, “ at that point, my baby woke up and started crying . I begged him to allow me breast feed the baby .
But before I could finish the statement, he placed the hot iron on my breasts, threatening to kill me if I shout. As he lifted the iron, I saw that the flesh from my breast had stuck to the iron surface. Again he pressed it harder on my stomach, leaving it there. I managed to turn, only for the iron to land on my lap.
He told me there was no way of escape for me that night, that members of his gang were outside to take my corpse to an unknown destination by the time he finished with me. At that point, I knew the end had come for me. I managed to shout out for help with all the strength in me but I could not.
At that point, he forcefully took Ebuka from the bed and went outside. I decided to go out because I did not know what he would do next when he came back. I cannot tell how I crawled out of the room. But I found myself in the kitchen naked, from where two men who saw me gave me wrapper to cover myself.
“As I was there, trying to fathom how I would escape from the compound, somebody shouted that my husband had killed my child. That was the last thing I heard. I guessed I passed out because I later opened my eyes and found myself in the hospital.”
Residents of Number 3, Lambe street, Ago confirmed to Crime Guard that they simply refused to go to Mary’s rescue that night because it was late and also that her shout for help had been one too many .
One of them said, “ Since they started living as husband and wife, there had never been a time we did not experience shout or crisis from their one-room apartment. It is worse any time the man came home drunk. We have even gone to report to the police when it became too much because we did not want a situation where he would kill her one day and we would be held responsible. Even at that, he did not stop.
“Several times, the woman had wanted to go back to her family but she wouldn’t. Even her father-in-law had advised her to leave when she travelled home last December because he was tired of the endless reports of his son battering his daughter in-law.”
Weeping, after pausing for a while, Mary recalled how he met her 37-year-old husband. “ We knew each other since 1996. The relationship blossomed until 2010, when he went for introduction in my village. I left my hair dressing skill and moved in with him with the hope of continuing later.”
But that was never to be as she revealed that rather than continuing learning hair dressing, she started selling pap, all in a bid to make ends meet and apparently as a demonstration of her love for Henry.
“He started showing his real colour later. He started by refusing to drop money for house keep and even when I begged him to rent a shop for me, he didn’t. Rather, he used the money to drink beer and smoke . When I advised him against his drinking and smoking habit, he would flare up and the next thing would be to hit me. Several times I have begged the police to help me beg him not to raise his hands on me but he wouldn’t”
Another predicament befalls Mary
Sadly, the anguished woman is faced with another predicament which is her inability to pay her medical bills. Already, Crime Guard gathered that her bill had amounted to N200,000 . Following this development, the hospital is threatening to stop treatment. Presently, the dressing of the burns which ought to be done on daily basis has been extended to once in two or three days, as a daily dressing cost s N10,000.
Sobbing uncontrollably and at the same time questioning her choice of partner, she revealed that her family members had not shown up since the incident occurred, as none of them, according to her, was aware of the incident.
“My mother must not hear of this because it will kill her. She is presently taking care of my sister who just put to bed in Owerri. I can not reach my relatives either because my phone is not with me and I do not have their phone numbers off hand.”
Crime Guard learnt that since the incident took place, her father in-law had been responsible for the hospital bills. But there is little Pa Nnamdi could do as the bill, as gathered, had gone beyond his capacity. Hospital sources disclosed that though their management had tried to attend to Mary’s case, there are indications that it might discharge her if the accrued bill is not cleared.
One of the doctors who identified himself simply as Eze explained that “she had a third degree burn and her case may deteriorate if she does not receive adequate care. She even fainted last Tuesday because she was not given food and her people lacked the fund to bring her back to normal state.”
He further disclosed that Mary was rushed to the hospital in a state of coma, adding that , “ The husband used pliers on her skin and decimated her. Then a hot iron was applied on her face, body chest, and her two breasts. Meanwhile, she has not been informed of the demise of her one-year-old son considering her present state.”
However, the alleged perpetrator of this dastardly act, Mr Henry Nnamdi who was arrested by neighbours, is currently at the State Criminal Investigation Department , Panti, Yaba. Efforts to speak with him proved abortive.

Female Student Murdered By Armed Robbers At “Aristos” House
September 10th, 2012 GE admin 1 Comment
Unfortunately, we would have lovedto be discreet about this report, but the message that needed to be passed across would not allow us. A family is currently in deep mourningmood after their first child was killed in a mysterious circumstance.
According to the report, a 200 level student of Tai Solarin University of Education , Miss Wunmi MorenikejiAdebayo was alleged (by her female friend, who survived the robbery attack) to have died after being shot at an unnamed beach in Lagos. But many wondered why there was no news about the robbery incident at any beach in Lagos prompting people to start investigations about the case.
It was (according to a BBM going round) found out that Wunmi did not die at any beach in Lagos, but actually died during an alleged robbery incident at her manfriend’s house at Golden Estate in Ijebu-Ode.
Read the excerpts:
“Wunmi Adebayo ,A student of tasu ed(Tai Solarin University)200level young, pretty humble and friendly, first born to be precise, was shot at a man house at Golden estate in ijebu ode just about some 14hours ago.
After they were robbed, they wanted to rape her but she didn’t allow so they shot her in head.
Pls we ladies need to b very careful and watch where ever we go. She has put her parent in a deep crisis now, may her soul rest in peace:( may we never see sudden death(Amen).”
So the question is:
Who took her dead body and dumped it at the beach in Lagos?
Should the friend that claimed they were together when the incident happened not be arrested?
Was there any report of a robbery incident to the police?
Judging by this circumstance, we beg to differ that she was even shot by armed robbers as claimed.
May her soul rest in peace.
