U.S honours Nigerian for developmental roles
The
United States Department of State has honoured Nigeria’s Grace

leadership development.
A
statement issued by the U.S. Consulate-General in Lagos said that
Ihejiamaizu had continued to promote after-school- youth –programmes
since her study in the U.S. Institute for Student Leaders (SUSI) in
2010.
“Ihejiamaizu
participated in the 2010 Study of the United States Institute for
Student Leaders programme on social entrepreneurship.
“She
has applied these entrepreneurial concepts in Nigeria by founding an
after-school -youth programme,’’ the News Agency of Nigeria quoted the
U.S State Department as saying in the statement.
The
statement said that Ihejiamaizu used her SUSI’s experience to examine
how business techniques and entrepreneurial skills could be used to
address social issues.
It
noted that Ihejiamaizu set up a non-governmental organisation --
Raising Young and Productive Entrepreneurs (RAPE) - in Nigeria on return
 from the study.
“This
