It was a sad day for friends and families of 3 students university of Portharcourt ,whom were reported to be
terrorizing the alor uniport area as they were burnt to death.
At 8:19 am 5th October 2012 three young men in their mid and late 20's were apprehended by the students and people of Alor at the university of Portharcourt axis. The
mob in the spirit of pay back unleashed a long bottled anger towards these young men,claiming they were few amongs the gang of hoodlums that has been raping, killing , robbing and terrorizing the area over sometime now.
Though the parents of one of the deceased tried to prevent this act of killings when they employed members of the joint military task force (JTF)to help save their children from the mob, but instead of the members of the JTF to save the situation, they were rather chased far far from the scene by
the mob.
petroleum fuel was donated,tires quick to circle their necks as they were set on fire as they burnt to death.
Many justified the mobs actions and some were still of the opinion that taking a humans life is unjustifiable.
